Welcome back!

It’s been a busy summer preparing the 2015-16 AIGMV calendar. Here’s a few exciting items to help launch the new season:

  • the upcoming three months’ demonstrators are now scheduled and locked in;
  • excitement is building for our upcoming “AIGMV Art in the Library Show” in October 2015;
  • Janice Jones has preregistered our AIGMV entry for the 2015 Festival of the Trees and locked in our title, “Artistree-3,” and we’re looking forward to seeing all of the AIGMV Members original small artworks and small sculptures you worked on over this summer that will be hung on our AIGMV Festival of the Trees entry;
  • Valerie Cox, our new AIGMV Webmaster, is making great progress on redesigning the AIGMV Website;
  • David Jones has been juried into the Brush Gallery and Art Studios in Lowell, MA as a Studio Artist, and Mayor Zanni has asked him to be the September 2015 Methuen Artist of the month and his work is currently on display in the Methuen Mayor’s office through the end of the month; and
  • Gail Fuller continues to provide unbelievable remote help to the AIGMV, continuing to create our AIGMV Newsletter, from her home in Virginia, close to her family and grandchildren. (Thank you Gail from all of us at the AIGMV!)

As a final message, if you’ve forgotten to renew your membership in our exciting AIGMV group due to all of your responsibilities and activities this summer, we look forward to you renewing again at your earliest opportunity. For those AIGMV Members who have renewed on time, thank you! We are privileged to have such a great AIGMV Art Group with an opportunity to share, present our work at our art shows, and attend great invited demonstrator presentations. Thank you for continuing to support the AIGMV, and do not hesitate to invite your art friends to join us at our monthly meetings and our upcoming show “Art in the Library” in October 2015.
